The Team

ASIC's Cyber Uplift Program will enhance the security of our systems by delivering technology and capability improvements, strengthening our ability to identify and respond to cyber security incidents. The Digital Data and Technology Portfolio Office, a centre of excellence, supports this initiative by coordinating and managing organisation-wide strategic business planning, transformational projects, and change initiatives, while providing project management governance, cross-ASIC program oversight, and leading performance and regulatory reporting and analysis.

The role

Comply with the ASIC Project Management Methodology, which is based on PRINCE2, and System Development Methodology.
Deliver projects within the approved KPIs
Control the project using appropriate tools and escalate early to minimise risk to success.
Identify resource requirements, engaging and managing resources.
Comply with the Commonwealth procurement rules and processes.
Embed the change utilising change management activities.

About you

Cyber Security experience
Minimum 7 years' project management experience, with involvement in large, business critical systems and Australian Government IT projects being highly regarded.
Experience delivering complex IT projects or previous technical experience in an applications management role.
