Master Group Bricklaying and Construction is looking for reliable, hard-working and motivated professional bricklayers to join our enthusiastic team. Work location is all around Sydney.

We offer the following:

§ Generous remuneration - $63,000 - $83,000 per annum

§ 8-hour shift Monday to Friday

Your key responsibilities will include:

•Lays standard brick and block with normal mortar up to maximum 2 meters height

Lays building materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures.

Measures distance from reference points and marks guidelines ono working surface to lay out work.

Reading and working from, plans and specifications.

Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials.

Spearing layers of mortar up serve as a base and binder for bricks in rows, designs or shapes; and spreading mortar between joints.

Repairing and maintaining clay bricks, cement blocks/ bricks and related structures.

Operating brick cutting machines.

Erecting scaffolding (subject to licence requirements)

Taps blocks with trowel to level, align, and embed in mortar, allowing specified thickness of joint.

Breaks bricks to fit spaces too small for whole brick, using edge of trowel or brick hammer.

May apply plaster to walls and ceiling, using trowel, to complete repair work.

Supervise junior labourers to ensure the quality of work completed.

You'll Need:

· Relevant qualification in building and construction is preferable

· Minimum Two years’ Experience in Construction Industry

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Passion for manual work and self-motivated

· Ability to work in a team and work independently

· A current White Card

· Drivers Licence (Preferable)

· Own transportation is preferable

· Evidence of current working rights in Australia
