Salt Building Solution Pty Ltd is a civil construction company operating throughout Canberra and regional NSW, we specialise in facade lock up from cladding installation to plastering finishes.

Tasks & responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and priming them for plaster application.
Mix and apply plaster using various tools and techniques to achieve desired finishes.
Repair and restore damaged or deteriorated plastered areas, ensuring seamless integration with existing surfaces.
Create specific textures or decorative patterns as per client specifications.
Ensure accuracy in measurements, angles, and surface alignments for a flawless finish.
Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials and tools, maintaining a secure work environment.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, communicating effectively to meet project requirements.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and address any arising issues promptly.
Clean tools, maintain equipment, and leave work areas tidy upon job completion.

Qualifications & experience

Proven experience as a plasterer with a minimum of 2 years in the construction industry.
Proficient in surface preparation, plaster application techniques, and the ability to produce various finishes.
Strong knowledge of plastering materials and their appropriate usage.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Valid certification or license in plastering may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
