About Us: State Plant Hire is a dynamic company specializing in a wide range of civil works across Melbourne. We work in some of the city's most scenic locations, undertaking projects such as road maintenance, drainage, bank stabilization (including rock beaching and gabion/retaining walls), concreting, and much more.

Position: General labourer

Your duties will include but not limited to:

· Assist with general labouring tasks such as drainage ie culvert installation & construction of gabion baskets/ retaining walls

· Digging trenches, pits and similar, shoveling soil, rubble and concrete

· Concrete and gravel foot path/ access road construction

· Site Tidy up i.e. light landscaping- shoveling & raking

· Following supervisor instructions

Requirements:

Construction industry white card
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
Drivers License and access to reliable transportation (MR Tuck License Preferred)
Minimum 12 months of onsite construction laboring experience.
Ability to perform general laboring tasks
