Responsible for the safe and complaint day to day management of the Crop and Seed Operations in order to meet the Production Schedule
Responsible for the safe and complaint day to day management of the Latrobe Plant Logistics in order to meet the Shipping Schedules (Seed and Straw)
Provide management, support for Latrobe Operations and to the Operation Manager
Support the Operations Manager to ensure maximum capacity utilisation of plant and equipment through assistance in the planning of maintenance, inventory controls, and designation of operating hours
Coordinate and troubleshoot daily activities in a compliant and efficient manner through effective utilisation of production operators and other support functions as required.
Work in accordance to Sun Pharma regulatory, EHS, Quality, and Licensing requirements.

Formal Qualifications

Degree level education preferably in Science, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience is desired.

Work Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, food or other regulated/GMP industries essential
Minimum 1 years as a Plant Lead / Manager

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and practices
High level of communication skills, verbal and written, including report writing
Intermediate level computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word and Outlook)
Strong influencing skills
Leadership and coaching skills
Strong decision making capability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
