UGL is an employer with a difference, jump on board and experience our incredible journey About the role The role of electrician is to provide support to the construction, as well as ensuring all contract requirements are demonstrated as met with requisite evidence available. · Assist with development of wiring diagrams and circuit and layout drawings for electrical installation. · Interpret circuit drawings to identify requirements and complete electrical wiring and installations. · Installation, testing & pre-commissioning of equipment such as, but not limited to, electrical & communications cable management systems (ladder, tray, conduits, ducting), LV, ELV, Control & communications cabling, Switchboard’s & control panels, marshalling panels, lighting systems, CCTV & Security equipment, earthing & lightning systems. · Installation, testing & pre-commissioning of equipment such as but not limited to communications cabling, antenna, and fibre systems. · Diagnose faults, identify defects and complete repairs in a prompt and efficient manner in line with best practice. · Planning and organising of activities in consultation with the Supervisors & Engineers, including the setting of priorities and allocation of available resources to ensure objectives and deadlines are met. About You · Cert III in Electrotechnology or qualification in equivalent field and a minimum of two years’ experience as an electrician via skills acquired by training and/or experience. · Post Trade certificate or Cert IV in Electrotechnology or qualification in equivalent field and a minimum of two years’ experience as an electrician via skills acquired by training and/or experience. · Post Trade certificate or AQF Diploma in Electrotechnology or qualification in equivalent field and a minimum of two years’ experience as an electrician via skills acquired by training and/or experience. · Current QLD Electrical license. · Relevant Construction Card (e.g., White Card). · Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card. · Tickets and Licenses: EWP, CPR, First Aid, Work at Heights, and Confined Spaces. · Valid Driver’s License.
