Lead College is seeking energetic, motivated, confident and outgoing Trainer and Assessor to provide a high standard of delivery and assessments to aspiring international students for the following qualification:
- CPC33020 - Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying
Training location is in Windsor. The available positions are for trainers/ assessors who will be assigned student groups that will be timetabled according to the training plans and availability. Duties include but are not limited to:
- e-learning platform (Moodle) learning for students
- Visit student workplace for training and assessments
- Conducting, marking and recording student assessments
- Provide student support
- Maintenance of all aspects of compliance related to working in the VET environment
- Support students through work placements
- Involve in assessment validation and moderation
- Assist to develop quality training
- Telephone and email support
- Review/evaluate training programs
- Review/evaluate assessment processes and modify
- Develop resources / upgrading and keeping resources abreast with changes in the industry
About you…
- You are well presented, self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal skills
- You have previous experience in education/training based role and/or experience in the relevant industry
- You have excellent presentation skills; including a positive and professional work manner
- You have the ability to priorities work, meet deadlines and work accurately under conflicting time pressures
- You are flexible in the hours you can work; evening and weekend work is required
- You have or/are willing to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check (can be organised prior to commencing employment)
- Knowledge of the industry Training Package and guidelines for Community Services package
Necessary qualifications:
- Certificate IV or Higher Qualification
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) including LLN units
- Relevant/current industry experience
- Knowledge of AQTF, ASQA
- 2 + years practical work experience in the field you deliver training
- A national police check (issued within the past 12 months)
- First Aid and CPR
