The Role
Our client, a well-established, local Bricklayer, is looking to employ a 1st year Apprentice where you will provided the opportunity to work on new home construction along with renovation projects. If you have a genuine interest in the bricklaying industry, you consider yourself to be a hard worker with a strong desire to learn a high demand trade and you hold a strong work ethic, this is the role for you.
The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Brick and Block Laying including:

Prepare bricklaying and blocklaying materials

Use tools and equipment
-
Carry out measurements and calculations
-
Read and interpret plans and specs
-
Construction of fireplaces, steps and walls
This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an Apprentice Bricklayer, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards CPC33020 Certificate III Bricklaying and Blocklaying which will see you employed directly by Kestrel for up to four years.

About You

Current Driver’s Licence
- Completion of a work placement within the bricklaying or related industry (desirable)

Able to commit to a four year apprenticeship

White card prior to commencement
