CARPENTER
Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide a resource to the operations of Northern Transportables in conducting a multi-disciplinary role as required fulfilling client needs.

Position Responsibilities
Operational
To assist management in successfully implementing the following objectives:
- Measure up cut once methodology;
- Provide a legible diagram on allocated tasks and hand to management;
- Read plans and interpret the required materials needed to complete the job;
- Cut materials to size requirements and minimises waste;
- Prepare and repair job surfaces to full holes/cracks or replace surfaces;
- Provide a complete first time finished product;
- Advise management on materials required to conduct specific jobs;
- Conduct tasks as required instructed by management;
- Develop risk assessments each time tasks are conducted and hand them into management after completion (SWMS etc);
- Fill out timesheets correctly on time and handed in with all required attachments;
- Take ownership with all allocated tasks and complete to the best of their ability;
- Report any hazards / incidents or accidents immediately to management;
- Be a reliable team member on time and fit for work;
- Protect the environment and remove any waste of sites and dispose accordingly;
- Ensure work areas are clean, tidy and secure at the end of each day;
- Wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all tasks;
- Conduct all tasks associated with the company providing training to enhance the position;
- Carryout reasonable tasks requested by management as required.

Qualifications and Attributes
Experience
- Hold a relevant Trade Certificate
- Hold an Elevated Work Platform Ticket
- Hold a Working at Heights Ticket
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in carpentry

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
