Company Description
Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projects are undertaking the design, build, and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package.
As Ontario Transit Group, we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.
The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.
What is the project?
- A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River).
- Stations:
- One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station.
- Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations.
- Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown).

Job Description
In charge of all logistic for OTG construction sites, including but not limited to all transportation from Logistic areas, supplier, subcontractor to construction sites, and transfer of equipment from site to site.
In charge of driver and operator crew.
General:
- Ensure a high standard of safety at any time, strong safety culture.
- Responsible for to transfer equipment, material, and any type of goods from collecting point till
- delivery point.
- Responsible for implementation of logistic strategy in accordance with Fleet Manager and Plant
- & Logistics Manager.
- Propose organization for logistics on all sites and logistic area.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies regarding transportation
- and safety.
Operations:
- Ensure the pre-start meeting at the beginning of the shift is well explained to all workers,
- drivers, operators including all safety matters.
- Prepare work, schedule tasks, and lead teams according to site planning and priorities.
- Set a clear planning with priorities to have a clear follow up on dispatching.
- Implement procedures and ensure good comprehension of works by the site teams.
- Ensure safe and smooth operation of its teams and propose solutions when required.
- Ensure its teams have the proper tools and means to work safely at any time.
- Follow-up maintenance parts, lubricants in LIP maintenance software.
Reporting:
- Ensure daily pre-start is performed on site and recorded on the server.
- Ensure all supporting documentation related to transportation (hours of service, vehicle
- inspections, delivery docket, receipt voucher, etc.) are sign clearly be receiver and copy is sent
- to Fleet Manager/Fleet Coordinator or Store Manager at the end of each shift.
- Get daily reports from site team, staff and workers presence and hours done and tasks
- performed each day per cost center.
- Get the hourly meters / Odometers meters of all equipment on site (km, running hours, etc.,
- etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- 10+ years’ experience in site logistics.
- Supervision skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
