Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a State Government Client (VPS 6). This is an initial contract until 30/06/2025, with potential for extension. This role involves managing a comprehensive programme to enhance the delivery of essential services in government facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the programme management approach to support governance, scheduling, and oversight.
- Oversee monitoring and reporting processes, including financial management, risk assessment, and benefit realisation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing advice and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Provide strategic advice, develop implementation plans, and maintain quality assurance over project controls.
- Lead a transition team dedicated to successfully delivering improvements in service quality.
About You
- Significant government experience, with demonstrated experience in facilities management.
- Extensive experience in managing projects within a government setting, particularly in facilities management.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a capacity to influence and manage relationships.
