THE OPPORTUNITY
The purpose of the site administrator's (Mining) position is to play an integral part in the day to day administration support for Mining Production, ensuring work flow processes and systems are accurate and timely to assist in a smooth, efficient administration service to the operating mine.
This is a permanent position, on an 8/6, FIFO roster (days only) based at our Pilgangoora Lithium Mining Operation in the Pilbara WA.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide administration support in all areas to support the process and systems of the mining operation.
- Ensure accurate and on time completion of delegated tasks from the Site Admin Supervisor to support the functions within the Administration team.
- SIC Report set up – Quarterly entries - RL/Shot, Load Counts, EX Hours operating downtime breakdowns etc.
- Enter daily Truck Sheets.
- Assist with Payroll and Leave enquiries from crew.
- Update team excel roster with approved leave.
- Manage new starter visual board.
- Assist with new starter transition to site.
- Create daily PSI for incoming shift - populating with EX locations and Priority, RL/Shots, Site Notices, Blasts, Sleeping Shots etc.
- PPE orders in Pronto and collection from warehouse.
- Manage mine facilities maintenance works – work orders, NPI etc.
- Mine facility and satellite crib huts stocked with all required forms, truck sheets, utilisation sheets etc.
- Maintain Crib Room stock levels, Coffee, Tea, Milk, Cups etc.
- Printing and Stationery orders
- Maintain stock levels of PPE etc in Crib (Safety Glasses, Earplugs, Windex, Prestart books, Hazard & Take 5s, cleaning cloths etc).
- Print and prepare dig plans and work instructions for Leading Hands.
- Print and Allocate QM Tasks to relevant Leading Hand.
- Filing and uploading documents to INX and Crew personnel folders.
- Prepare truck fleet availability for incoming shift.
- End of day SIC report update to finalise BCM for shift from truck tally sheets.
- Manage the itinerary for the FIFO changeover meeting.
- Maintain/update site mine maps for mine facility.
- Print site notices and maintain mine notice board.
- Point of contact for coordinating Mine Pit visits.
- Escalating and directing calls or requests for information to Mine Supervisor areas.
- Liaise with Ops Admin to support mine light vehicle servicing to ensure compliance with regular service requirements.
- Procurement activities including raising purchase requisitions, receipting and invoice reconciliation in Pronto.
- Arrange catering and mine crib orders as required.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
ABOUT YOU
As an experienced Site Administrator (Mining), you will ideally have:
- Current C class driver’s license.
- Certificate IV in Business, Administration, or a related area.
- High efficiency using the full Microsoft Office suite
