Applicants should possess:
· At least 3 year’s experience with Doka Formwork
· Be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and select appropriate formwork
· Certificate 3 in carpentry is desirable
Daily duties are listed below:
- Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and the materials required for jobs, dimensions & installation procedures
- Follow the direction of the surveyor mark outs
- Manually move material as required
- Build wooden forms based on blueprints
- Shape and cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools
- Verify trueness of structures
- Assemble and nail cut and shaped materials
- Erect framework and props using hand tools, nails and other equipment- using Doka/Peri/IschebekTitan formwork
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures
- Measuring and calculating wooden structures
- Stacking timbers and ply ready for the next job
- Checking elevations using a level
- Making stopends for edge shitters
- Setting up decks and walls for concrete construction
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe working environment.
- Liaise with other team members by providing information to site foremen; co-workers and other trades people involved onsite.
- Enter and work in confined spaces
- Lifting /pushing/pulling up to 20kg
You are required to use following equipment and tools
- All types of screwdrivers
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $54.12 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
