What will the role involve?
Are you a skilled bricklayer or wannabe bricklayer looking for more than just the same old routine? Do you want a role that offers variety, challenges, and the opportunity to grow your skills? This may be the role for you.
In this role you could be doing a range of different things on a day-to-day basis, if we were to give a “snapshot”, the role would look something like:
- Lay bricks, blocks, and building materials for walls, piers, and other structures.
- Ensure alignment, leveling, and accurate application of mortar for a durable finish.
- Prepare work areas, ensuring they are clean and ready for construction.
- Assist in demolishing structures and clearing sites for new builds or repairs.
- Straighten and reinforce walls or structures that need repair.
- Identify and fix structural issues to restore integrity and aesthetics.
- Work closely with other trades to integrate brickwork into larger projects.
- Provide input and expertise to solve construction challenges.
- Inspect and ensure all work meets high-quality standards and project specifications.
- Address any issues promptly to maintain project integrity.
Qualifications and Experience:
What we are looking for:
- White Card (necessary but also willing to give you a chance if your willing to get it)
- Experience in construction and specific bricklaying industry (desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using manual and electric tools
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.59 – $50.00 per hour
