Assistant Management Accountant - Large Engineering Company UGL is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join the team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accountancy career by gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting and management across multiple business units, with a focus on our Engineering business unit. You can choose to be based in either our Brisbane or North Sydney office. Key responsibilities - Support financial management of the Engineering BU, including reviewing P&L, preparing reports, and processing journals. - Assist with the preparation of consolidated month-end reports and schedules. - Manage financial tasks for the Project Management BU, including raising purchase orders and posting recharges. - Maintain SAP system data, including vendor and customer information. - Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvements. About you - You have a solid understanding of accounting concepts, including journal entries and reconciliations. - Proficiency in Excel is essential, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage. - You are organised, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
