What’s on offer?
For our Cocos (Keeling) Islands Airfield Upgrade Project based in Perth, we are seeking a suitably experienced Senior Contracts Administrator, who is looking for their next challenge and unique experience. The upgrade of the airport is critical to the island’s infrastructure, as it’s the main access and delivery point for supplies and visitors alike.
This position will involve both contracts administration and management including:
- Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers including requests for tender, analysis of tenders, internal recommendations, and awarding subcontractor/ supply agreements in line with Company processes and procedures.
- Subcontract administration including assessment of interim and final payment claims, preparing payment schedules, assessment of claims for variation and extensions of time, as well as other claims for time and cost.
- Assisting in the preparation, management, and compilation of monthly reporting requirements in line with procurement outcomes and tracking of costs for lettings against budget.
You will have demonstrable experience and/or knowledge of various aspects of construction contract management / administration, subcontract procurement, commercial claims, commercial reporting, and management which is required for civil infrastructure and engineering construction projects. An ability to work autonomously while administering and managing multiple subcontract packages, and have exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
