What The Role Involves
- Providing field-based assessment and investigation of commercial insurance losses
- Liaising with policyholders concerning their claims. Examining claims forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions, and other records to determine coverage.
- Investigating claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, and comparing claim information with evidence.
- Set loss reserves and control claims costs
What you will bring:
- Degree-qualified, with an engineering/construction/IT/insurance experience
- A dynamic, career focus, looking to start as a trainee and grow your experience
- Ability to produce reports for the insurer to evaluate losses
- Experience in building strong relationships with all stakeholders
