Position summary
We are currently looking for a capable and proactive National HSE Advisor to provide guidance and support to our teams across Australia and internationally.
Reporting to the CEO, this role will guide and contribute to the implementation of our strategic approach to HSE management across our projects and operations and will be the company focal point for all HSE matters within the scope of our certified integrated management system.
The role provides a unique opportunity for the right person to engage with stakeholders of all levels within the business, from Executive Team to workshop floor, using a collaborative approach to tackle the unique challenges that our operations bring and maintain our core value of “Everyone safe, everyday”.
The role is based primarily at Seven Hills, Sydney with a blend of site travel and flexible working.
About you
- Proven experience in HSE management within heavy industry (Minimum 5 years in similar role)
- A genuine passion for both steering direction at Senior Management level and interacting meaningfully with those at the worksite
- Strong working knowledge of construction safety, dangerous goods and NHVR chain of responsibility legislation
- Well-developed EQ, influence and relationship management skills
- A collaborative approach
- Lead Auditor, Training/Assessment and ICAM or TapRoot qualifications desirable
