Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 3 Project Manager to lead the CA66 New Work Take On (WTO) process. This role is critical in developing, owning, and executing the WTO process for new SATCOM capabilities in support of the Army as the capability manager.
A minimum of NV1 Clearance is required to apply for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the WTO process for new SATCOM capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with Army requirements.
- Develop, own, and manage the WTO process, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Collaborate closely with the capability manager to align the WTO process with Army's strategic goals.
- Prepare critical project documentation, including PMPs, OCDs, LSCs/ILSIs, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, including an engineer and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) professional, to ensure cohesive and effective project delivery.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience in both acquisition and sustainment within a Defence environment.
- Proven track record in preparing Project Management Plans (PMPs), Operational Concept Documents (OCDs), and Life Cycle Sustainment Concepts/Integrated Logistics Support Instructions (LSCs/ILSIs).
- Familiarity with Army capability management processes and the introduction to service of new capabilities.
- Strong leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within Defence, particularly with SATCOM or related technologies.
- In-depth understanding of Army capability management and introduction to service procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
