About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Officer to support our Fibre-to-the-Building (FTTB) program in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing communications with strata owners, building management, and other stakeholders, ensuring the smooth execution of our FTTB projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for strata owners, building managers, and other relevant stakeholders. Handle inquiries and provide timely updates via email and phone.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate site visits, meetings, and installations with internal teams and external partners. Ensure all parties are informed and aligned on project timelines.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of communications, agreements, and project progress. Update project management systems as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders. Escalate complex matters to the appropriate team members for resolution.
- Reporting: Prepare regular status reports for internal teams and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any required actions.
- Administrative Support: Assist the FTTB project team with administrative tasks, including preparing documents, processing forms, and managing logistics.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within the telecommunications or construction industries.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and finding effective solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software.
- Customer Service: Experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on building positive relationships.
