We are looking for a talented Warehouse Supervisor to work in our new Newman facility. The role works independently to oversee the facility and manage the site. You will work closely with the service team to ensure all warehouse operations are completed efficiently and offer a first-class service to our customers in the area. The role operates on an 8/6 FIFO roster in Newman.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Conduct regular cycle counts.
Manage site HSE including waste and HIRA, Communicate HSE data to Office Administrator
Manage site access and equipment in conjunctions with the Field Service Supervisor
Manage core and parts credits, organize parts and freight, check parts availability and work with the service advisors to ensure parts are assigned and sent accordingly
Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations, adhering to all health and safety guidelines
Ensures clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks, compliance, washday, and machine cleaning tasks and supports planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
A current Forklift licence & WA manual driving licence
Previous warehousing/stores experience – ideally in a similar industry is preferred, with the ability to work autonomously
Previous experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial
Excellent computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and have the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
