About The Role
You will support and drive improvements in Workplace Health and Safety management and outcomes through the pillars of effective risk management, performance and improvement, purposeful leadership, and health and wellbeing, aligning with their strategic plan and aspirations.
This position will require you to be based on site and carry out field safety duties including audits and inspections as well as build close working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
About You
Previous health and safety experience is essential in, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse workforce. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in health and safety, occupational hygiene, project management, business, or related fields or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Proficient in technology and data analysis for developing H&S documents, training, and risk solutions.
- Extensive experience in high-risk environments (utilities, mining, construction, energy, logistics) for effective H&S risk management.
- Background in customer-focused service delivery for aligning H&S products with stakeholder expectations.
- Skilled in interpreting and applying H&S legislation, policies, and standards.
- Experienced in contributing to H&S documentation and processes.
- Capable of managing individual H&S improvement projects.
- Drivers Licence and the ability to travel within the State
