About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role involves supporting project management teams in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard. The successful candidate will also be responsible for financial tracking, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Management: Assist in leading projects to achieve quality, program, and budget outcomes. Support Project Managers and Directors in project delivery.
- Financial Management: Assist with budget tracking, monitoring and variance reporting. Develop and manage reporting processes under direction.
- Operational Support: Provide support to the Project Delivery teams, including coordination and establishment of a Project Management Office. Ensure compliance with Airports Act, AAL requirements and company policies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to WHS and environmental guidelines. Contribute to a safe, healthy, and discrimination-free workplace.
About you:
- Relevant qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, Business, Construction, Project Management, Aviation or another related field
- 2 - 3 years in construction or project management
- Experience in budget management, project reporting, project coordination and programming of projects
- Experience in managing multiple projects in an operating environment, while also managing design teams, contractors and stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license
