Our team in Southbank, Melbourne has gone from strength to strength in the last 26 years growing into a truly multi-disciplined office of more than 140 personnel across Building Structures, Ports & Marine, Civil Infrastructure, Traffic and Transport, Geotechnical and Water.
With the exciting news that a long standing Joint Regional Manager is taking on a new challenge to lead the evolution of our technical services across the group, stepping into a newly created Group Technical Services Manager position, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual for the next phase of our development. Reporting to our Joint Managing Directors as a key member of our Executive Leadership Team and being ably supported by our Sector and Team Managers this role will continue to support and develop not only the Melbourne and Tasmania offices but provide input into the broader Australian and New Zealand business in accordance with our strategic plan.

About You
- Previous experience in a Business operational leadership position at a Regional or Sector level which includes operational, financial and personnel management ideally within a Consulting Engineering environment
- Ability to foster a positive design engineering environment through a collaborative and engaging management approach
- Capacity to further develop WGA's brand within the technical engineering and construction industries across the Victorian and Tasmanian Region
- Proven experience coordinating multi-disciplined teams across a range of engineering design projects. Responsibility for project performance
- Relevant Engineering/Design Qualifications
- Ability to manage the recruitment and resourcing of personnel to ensure optimal project delivery and achieve target performance
- A strong and understanding of the development of Regional business plans, including budgets and office infrastructure requirements
