One of SA’s largest family-owned business’ is looking for an Accounts Officer to join our corporate team located in Eastwood. This contract is being offered on a short-term contract basis ranging from 6 - 12 months depending on the applicant's desire, part-time 0.8 FTE will be considered.

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, key responsibilities of the role will include;
- Accounts Payable / Receivable
- Processing overheads and invoices
- Processing general ledger journals
- Managing internal and external accounts queries
- Petty cash reconciliations and reimbursements
- Reporting
- Daily receipting
- Reconciling the bank account and credit cards
- End of month processes, including month end roll
- Working within the account related software programs

Qualifications
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in a comparable role, will be driven, flexible and passionate. You will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Experience in an Accounts Officer role
- Experience using relative accounting software
- Experience in the construction industry (desired but not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to multitask and operate in a complex work environment
