Well-known State Government seeking an experience Project Lead working on road and bridge projects to achieve.
Your new company
This well-known State Government Organisation is currently seeking an experience Project Lead, implement and monitor road and bridge works to achieve project scope, quality, cost, time, safety and environmental requirements in accordance with relevant policies and toolkits.
Your new role
As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for the following below:
- Undertake research and analysis to prepare, monitor and report on the physical and financial status of projects, and develop innovative responses to improve project outcomes and project processes.
- Apply competence in road and bridge design, construction and maintenance practices and standards to prepare and administer contracts for works.
- Exercise independent professional judgement to anticipate and assess potential project risks, undertake/coordinate complex risk assessments and develop necessary mitigation plans.
- Understand and hold contractors to account for technical, safety and permit requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful person will need to have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering as well as relevant experience in Construction and liaising with contractors and clients. You will also have experience across traffic signal plans, pavements, street-lighting, CCTV etc.
