Operating for over 3 decades, our client has built a solid reputation across multiple sectors including Commercial, Educational, Government, Health and Industrial projects, typically delivering projects ranging from $3 million to $15 million in value.
Role Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support the project management team. The role will primarily focus on government projects initially, with the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors as the company diversifies its portfolio. This position offers exposure to different project types and a broad range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts.
- Manage project documentation, including contract variations, claims, and progress reports.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure contracts are adhered to and project objectives are met.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve contract-related issues.
- Monitor project costs and ensure budgetary compliance.
- Contribute to risk management processes and support the resolution of contractual disputes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial construction industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law, construction contracts, and industry standards.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in contract management and documentation.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
