About the role:
We are looking for a Trade Assistant / Labourer to join Humes, in the engineering workshop based in Pooraka South Australia. This is a permanent full-time role.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Grit blasting of components
- Safe operation of UHP water blast unit
- Spray painting of various components
- Assist with loading transport including pre and post departure paperwork
- Forklift operation, including loading and unloading of moulds, stock and spare parts
- Operation of machinery
- Cleaning and housekeeping
- Order picking
- Basic welding
- Oxy & acetylene cutting
About you:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health and environment
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Basic computer skills
- Hold a valid driver's licence and LF ticket
- High attention to detail
- Be able to pass a Police check, as well as a full medical including drug and alcohol screening
