Position Overview
The Project Manager will be required to take overall responsibility of various small to large sized projects. As a Project Manager, you will be required to deliver these projects successfully on time, quality and costs target, realising measurable benefits and thereby ensuring satisfied clients.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring timely and successful project delivery
• Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts
• Monitor progress, track milestones, and prepare regular project reports to stakeholders
• Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and address any concern
• Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
• Operate as Builder-side Project Manager and effectively manage all subcontractors
• Diligently track financial data and regularly track margin
• Ensure profitability across all projects
• Manage client communications to ensure Moltus are best represented, and build long term relations with clients
• Bring a can-do attitude, be flexible and self-motivated and self-led
• Manage and mentor Junior PMs/Project Engineers
• Conducting all activities in accordance with the Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System.
Skills and Qualifications
• Tertiary or trade qualification in a building related field (Mandatory)
• White Card
• Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention Card
• Asbestos Awareness Card
• Operated as Building-side Project Manager (Preferred)
• A stable track record in delivering of construction projects up to $5m as a Project Manager
• Experienced in management of subcontractors
• Manage programme, schedule and sequence trades effectively
• A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and building regulations
• Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
• Proficient in project management software/tools such as Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Projects
