Culhig Surveying
- Travel to sites, as required. This can include Interstate and to FIFO/DIDO to remote locations.
- Help and support surveyors in all aspects of fieldwork.
- Through using, and with the support of your supervising surveyor, improve your understanding and operational use of Leica survey equipment, such as (but not limited to) GPS, TPS, Sub mm Dumpy Levels, Laser Scanners, UAS and Multi Station.
- Perform or assist with calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements, such as (but not limited to) site boundaries, gridlines, volumes etc.
- Assist with marking and delineating boundaries and reference points on a property, construction site or mining lease, etc.
- Assist with the preparation of reports for presentation to the client. Reports may include HD bolt reports, conformance reports, volume reports, clash detection reports etc.
- Load survey equipment into vehicles for transport to sites, ensuring that all necessary equipment is included and is in proper working order.
- Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of Culhig Surveying’s asset such as survey equipment and vehicles.

Qualification & Experience
Skills And Experience
The ideal applicants should have the following experience and basic requirements:
- A minimum two years experience
- A Cert IV, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, geospatial sciences, geophysics, or a related field such as Civil/Structural Engineering
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally
- Demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work independently and in a team
- Have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Have great attention to detail
- Be client focused
