The Senior Contracts Officer is accountable to the Senior Manager, Public Housing Development, for ensuring construction contracts are appropriately managed and achieve improved outcomes within the SA Housing Trust (the Trust).
From the time contracts have been signed or commenced, the Senior Contracts Officer actively manages contracts throughout their life cycle in accordance with their terms. This includes working across the full range of internal and external key stakeholders keeping them well informed, and managing the performance of the contract to ensure requirements are met (including corrective actions) and that the contract delivers the anticipated value.
This role also includes the management of the Trust’s pre-qualification builders list and the associated reporting associated with this.
Special Conditions
- Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.
- The successful applicant may be required to hold a current Australian issued Drivers Licence, which must be maintained.
Role Status
Two long term opportunties up to 30 June 2026.
Requirements
Desireable - Appropriate degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
Remuneration
$98,478 - $104,165 (ASO6)
