We're seeking a driven and detail-focused Contract Administrator with experience in the commercial/residential sector to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you will manage contracts and ensure smooth project execution from beginning to end.
As the Contract Administrator, you will work alongside our Project Managers and be responsible for all contractual management requirements for existing and upcoming projects.

You must have experience in the following: ensuring that all contracts meet deadlines to support our project managers.
Responsibilities:
· Negotiate and review subcontractor agreements
· Prepare and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements, including the scope of work.
· Administer project contracts, variations, progress claims, and cost control.
· Manage project documentation, including RFIs, claims, and compliance requirements.
· Liaise with Project Managers, Site Teams, and stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
· Monitor contract performance and ensure all obligations are met.
· Building a close relationship with the site supervisors/foreman and the suppliers.
· Review, negotiate, and manage construction contracts, ensuring compliance with the project.
· Prepare and manage claims, subcontract packages, and procurement schedules.
· Track project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets.
· Provide contractual advice and facilitate communication among project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
· Support contract negotiations and identify potential risks.
The successful candidate will have:
· Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
· 2+ years experience working as a Contracts Administrator in commercial/residential builds
· Understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues related to main contracts
· A working knowledge of major building trades
