About the role:
The Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the design process, from initial concept development through to construction and handover.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget
- This role will be site based
- Coordinate the work of all design team members, including architects, engineers, and other consultants.
- Communicate regularly with the project team and stakeholders to ensure that everyone is kept informed of progress and any changes are addressed
- Oversee the quality of all design work and ensure that it meets all relevant standards and regulations
- Manage and Review Shop Drawings as well as RFI's
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as construction management, architecture, design, engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a design coordination/ Project Coordinator role in the Tier 1 or 2 space
- Experience working on complex and challenging projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
