About the role
You’ll be a member of the Internal Sales department consisting of two to three Internal Sales representatives. You’ll have the opportunity to work both autonomously and as part of a team to manage inbound sales requests and repeat orders. This role is a hands-on role with a prerequisite of strong professional communication skills combined with complete integrity. Experienced at building vital relationships with the client base. You’ll liaise with both new and repeat clients, ensuring that you adeptly manage their sometimes-demanding requirements.
More specifically you will:
- Answer phone calls relating to products and sales and monitor general enquiry email addresses.
- Understand client requirements and deliver product solutions to meet their requirements.
- Day-to-day processing and follow up of customer quotes and orders.
- Convert quotations to sales orders via our Pronto CRM module.
- Manage and maintain the CRM database.
- Liaise with Regional Sales Managers as required providing sales support as required.
- Actively participate in team meetings with the CSO staff
- Build rapport and strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- A high level of computer literacy with experience with Pronto / SAP or similar ERP-MIS systems preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills. Some custom style products manufactured.
- Superior communication, engagement and negotiation skills when dealing with clients
- High levels of problem solving, and solution focused thinking
- Have a sound understanding of cost and selling margins for custom products.
Deliver WOW customer service with every interaction (enjoyable experience) • Quote creation • Outbound quote follow-up • Generate quality leads for category team.

- 1-2 years' experience in Sales and Customer Service - Inbound & outbound
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated experience working in a call centre preferred.
- Proven problem solving, time management skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using Pronto would be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in the civil construction industry supply industry is highly regarded
