Site Manager - Commercial Fitout - 12-week contract
Harrison-Barratt Group is representing a reputable Fitout practice in helping secure an experienced Site Manager for a 12-week contract, based out of Mackay, Caneland Central.
The project is a $2M Fitout of a school and requires someone with a strong fit-out background, who has completed projects up to $5M.
The Role
As the Site Manager, you will oversee and manage the project from inception to completion. You’ll ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will be key in coordinating with subcontractors, managing on-site teams, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues or changes promptly.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any on-site issues or challenges effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in construction management or a related field.
