Job Title: Construction Manager - Substation & Electrical Site Supervisors
Location: South Australia – Open to relocation AU and NZL
MUST HOLD AN ELECTRICAL LICENCE
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our Substation Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and completing projects in a safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner. This role requires a strong leader who can provide guidance to construction crews, manage subcontractors, and oversee day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure all projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage construction crews and subcontractors.
- Oversee daily operations, including budget management and work planning/scheduling.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Manage project documentation and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Construction Manager
- Experience managing small teams between 5-8 people
- Strong background in Substations
- Electrical background
- Electrical Licence is a must have (NZL can be transfered)
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
