About Our Client
With a proud history of providing excellent service within the logistics space across Western Australia over the past 60 years, our client is currently experiencing rapid growth and as a result is seeking to strengthen its finance function.
Job Description
Reporting into the CFO, this senior finance role will lead 2 x direct reports. Key duties and responsibilities of this role will also include;
- Overseeing budgeting, cashflow reporting and financial planning
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Tax requirements - BAS, FBT, GST
- Provide 2IC support to CFO with ad-hoc matters
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a strong background in either commercial accounting or business services, within a firms setting. Key traits will include:
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience leading small teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
