The program
Development Victoria are looking for students who are studying property development, planning, construction, project management, engineering, architecture or a similar field to join our 2025 Intern Program. We are hiring interns for the following areas in our business; Precincts, Housing, Origination & Delivery and Civic Infrastructure.
As an Intern you will gain exposure to a diverse range of projects across the full project lifecycle, whilst being provided with on-the-job training and valuable industry experience. The program will commence in January 2025 and run until December 2025 and offers you the opportunity to balance academic priorities with a 22.8 hours per week.

Desired Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be enrolled (during 2025) in a Bachelor degree or Postgraduate studies in a property development, planning, construction, project management, engineering, architecture or equivalent discipline. The ideal candidate will be in their final year of studying.
- Possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and adobe pro or PDF based programs
- Have experience in the delivery of high quality customer service
- Have experience working in an environment requiring liaison with, and coordination of, multiple stakeholders and conflicting demands
- Have the ability to prepare written communication and documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct language
- Possess a basic knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including residential codes and controls as they affect residential development, construction related matters
- Possess the time management skills required to complete tertiary studies and a part time internship
