Role Overview: We are seeking two highly skilled Construction Project Managers/Foremen with a solid trade background, preferably in carpentry, cabinet making, or joinery, along with substantial project management experience. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Design and Construct (D&C) projects, experience in live environments, and client-side expertise. We are also open to junior project managers with relevant experience who are eager to advance to a more senior role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Work independently, managing project schedules and timelines effectively.
- Leverage your trade expertise to troubleshoot and provide technical solutions on-site.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Communicate clearly with clients, trades, and stakeholders, keeping everyone informed of progress and issues.
- Handle the defect period efficiently, resolving issues to maintain client satisfaction.
- Provide detailed reports and updates to clients and internal teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Foreman in construction, with a successful track record in retail fit-outs and refurbishments.
- Background in a trade such as carpentry, cabinet making, or joinery.
- Experience in Design and Construct (D&C) projects and live environments.
- Strong pre-construction knowledge and client-side experience.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success in meeting deadlines, managing budgets, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for clear interactions with clients and trades.
