Our client specialize in commercial fit out and shopfitting and are partnered with many of Australia's leading brands across franchise, retail, and hospitality sectors. We are currently seeking a Fitout Project Manager
About The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for running the project from end to end in conjunction with our team of Managers, Administrators, On-Site Tradesman and contractors. Typically, you will be managing a few projects simultaneously and as the nature of our industry is face paced, excellent organisation and communication are keys to success.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring all phases are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilise existing 3rd party software to build and manage project plans, cost reporting, KPIs, budgets, forecasting, progress payments, variations and claims submissions Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.
- Participate in identifying and problem solving any trade specific issues and provide alternatives and solutions to assist the on-site team
- Adhere to company policies regarding all aspects of quality assurance to ensure high standards are met throughout all projects
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to meet the scheduled project outcomes and to motivate fellow employees and sub-trades to get the job done on time and with high quality
- Work with management to undertake works against construction timelines with a focus on meeting project deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing fit-out and refurbishment projects
- Proficiency in contract management and tendering processes
- Be experienced in managing relationships within a team environment
- Experience working within Australia Building Regulatory Standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Full drivers license
- Be self-motivated with the demonstrated ability to take initiative in a fast paced environment
