Due to continued expansion and growth a newly created opportunity exists for an experienced Project Delivery Manager in our Pacific Energy Connected (PEC) division. In addition to expanding the existing remote and renewable power solutions, PEC is one of Australia’s leading turnkey delivery partners for green hydrogen production and refuelling facilities, with unmatched experience delivering end-to-end hydrogen ecosystems and specialised equipment and is on a rapid growth trajectory.
The Project Delivery Manager will be accountable for all areas and services that support the design and construction of all projects, product lines and equipment. They will be responsible for planning, controls, performance improvement, HSEQ systems and process compliance, efficiencies, and functional strategy.
This role would be ideal for someone with a passion for leadership, continuous improvement, and innovation. The successful candidate will lead all communications, implementation of safety and quality control measures and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all projects contractually, financially and to schedule
- Legal and compliance reviews of contracts and project plans
- Ongoing reporting of project status to senior management and executive
- Contribute to tender responses, prepare, and deliver reports to business leaders.
- Mentor the functional team to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of all staff.
- Workforce management to ensure recruitment and retention of project delivery team.
- Contribute to organisational planning and strategy as a senior member of management.
- Manage the implementation of Health, Safety and Quality Assurance programs in line with Company policies, procedures, and ISO accreditation.
- Scrutinise and optimise the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of continuous improvement.
- Foster a workplace culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork.
About You:
- Substantial experience in multi-disciplined system construction particularly in energy generation and/or gas handling.
- Tertiary qualified in project or business management with trade related or engineering qualifications.
- Expertise in Microsoft and Project Management software packages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership, people management capability and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong project / production management and organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills and deadline driven.
- Ability to confidently deal with a wide range of people both internally and externally.
- Results oriented, commitment to delivery and a problem-solving mindset.
