The Opportunity
Our client is a community focused Federal Government Agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for an APS4 Project Officer to join the Data, Analytics and Actuarial Division in ensuring quality actuarial services, analytics, data management, pricing and data governance across the Agency and to key stakeholders.
12 month initial contract with a likely chance of extension, offering an APS4 hourly rate of $43.82 + Super, to be based out of our clients Richmond or Geelong office with 2 days working from home.
About the role
The APS 4 Project Officer is a support position, playing a key role in facilitating the administrative and operational functions of the Investment Effectiveness Program (IEP). This role will provide essential support to the team's policy analysis and strategic planning activities.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating and managing stakeholder engagement activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
- Assisting with the management of external research contracts, including liaison with contractors and basic contract administration
- Supporting document management and version control for project materials
- Formatting and proofreading reports, briefings, and other written content
- Conducting basic research and data collection to support policy analysis
- Maintaining project management tools and tracking project milestones
- Organizing and coordinating workshops, seminars, and other events
- Providing general administrative support to the IEP team
