We are excited to offer this new opportunity for a Property Project Manager to lead RAA's ambitious Future Workplace Program. This high-profile project will shape RAA’s new physical workplaces, including two major new builds, and is set to transform the way we work.
Responsibilities
In this role you will oversee the successful delivery of key property initiatives and play a crucial part in the construction and delivery of new physical workplaces, ensuring smooth transitions, clear communication, and compliance with all necessary standards. You will also:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure consistent engagement, communication, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Own the detailed task management of the project, pulling together key documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring all project reports on timelines, risks, issues, and budgets are delivered.
- Ensure all WHS requirements related to property and facilities are compliant with relevant legislation.
- Assist in the decanting of people and infrastructure, ensuring seamless transitions by mapping out and allocating tasks.
- Keep all staff and stakeholders informed by providing regular updates on timing, milestones, and any changes that may affect the transition.
- Be ready to handle "grunt work" and assist the Director with the day-to-day operational needs of the project.
- Lead a team of two direct reports: a Project & Property Coordinator and a Change Manager, providing clear direction, setting targets, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive experience in project management, ideally within property, construction, or facilities management.
- Strong understanding of construction timelines and processes, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and the ability to keep various parties aligned with the project’s objectives.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage reporting, document control, and task allocation across a complex project.
- Experience in communicating with staff and ensuring smooth transitions during workplace changes.
- Understanding of WHS regulations and property-related compliance.
