About The Role
As the Senior Finance Administrator, you will be a key member of the small finance team, and will report directly to the Finance Manager. You will handle supplier payments, statutory returns, financial reporting and payroll. Your role will involve frequent collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality results that align with our company values.
Duties
- Assist with filing of BAS, processing payroll and accounting to Trial Balance
- Understanding of GST calculations and legislation
- Process bank account transactions including bank reconciliations
- Process incoming invoices into Accounting Systems
- Process accounts payable in payment runs
- Review general ledger allocations of credit cards and petty cash
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Financial Services
- Demonstrated previous experience in a finance role
- Knowledge of payroll, company and fringe benefits tax
- Previous experience and understanding of professional practice
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient IT skills
- Concise and effective communication skills
