The Project: UGL has been appointed Principal Contractor for TransGrid’s Maragle Switching Station and Transmission Line Project based in Maragle in New South Wales, approx. 500km /southwest of Sydney, as part of the Snowy Mountain 2.0 Project. The work involves: • Design and construction of Maragle 330kV Switching Station and supporting works. • Design and construction of two 330kV transmission lines, cut into Line 64, the installation of OPGW on a section of Line 64, and supporting works. We are currently looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join the team and this role will be based on site on a 19:9 Roster. This role supports the Logistics Manager the purchasing and material expediting functions across the Maragle. This position also maintains a strong working relationship with the Procurement team to ensure clear lines of communication and engagement with various suppliers of both services and materials. What will a day look like in this role • Implement appropriate purchasing and expediting systems, processes and resources to support sustainment activities; • Support the Logistics Manager and Stores Supervisor on ensuring all supplies are readily available for construction team • Participate in in Procurement Policy and related instruments; • Report to the Logistics Manager on key purchasing and expediting metrics and ensure material spend is aligned to budget.
