Join Our Team: Contracts Administrator at Evolution Traffic Management
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate, energetic, and highly motivated Contracts Administrator to join Evolution Group!
In this role you will drive and deliver pricing for tenders and review and administer contracts during the bid and execution phases. This pivotal role allows you to leverage your expertise within a forward-thinking framework, furthering our commitment to our Core Values.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager – Evolution Traffic Management – Australia, you will utilise your skills and innovative approach to make your mark. This role is perfect for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves up and lead from the front. You will be at ease reviewing new contracts (both client and major suppliers) as well as developing comprehensive estimating strategies to secure new client contracts at an acceptable level of margin and risk, and ensuring the effective management of contractual and supply chain risks.
With your sharp eye for detail, you will be able to with ease, review the performance of key contracts, provide insightful advice on margin enhancement, delivery optimisation, risk mitigation, and ensuring that our supply chain management practices are robust and aligned with our strategic goals.
No two days will be the same in this varied role, where you will:
- Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to identify potential risks, opportunities, legal reviews and escalate where necessary
- Develop estimating strategies that align with Evolution’s risk appetite and ensure competitive positioning in securing new contracts
- Perform bi-annual reviews of contracts to assess performance against objectives, focusing on margin analysis, delivery efficiency, and contractual risk
- Provide strategic advice to relevant parties on contract and profit risk
- Conduct thorough reviews of contracts and implement strategies to assess and mitigate supply chain risks
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external parties to facilitate effective and successful contract negotiation and compliance
- Be a leader in continuous improvement
ABOUT YOU! ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in contracts and/or commercial analysis role
- Excellent understanding of the tendering process and commercial acumen to grow market share.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical & numerical skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Proven experience in planning and execution of jobs
- Superb report writing ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with exemplary communication skills.
