Custom Steel Fab have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts & Project Administrator to join the team!
Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated high attention to detail
- Previous experience in the construction or heavy industrial sections highly advantageous
- Ability to prioritise tasks under pressure, working towards deadlines and targets
- Assist Project Team with monitoring and reviewing job/project costings
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with Senior Management and clients alike
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced with applications such as MS Office, Sharepoint and Xero
- Knowledge and experience in other project management software including but not limited to; Simpro, Aconex, Procore, Team Binder, Payapps, Hammertech, Estimate One highly advantageous
- Autonomy to work individually and as part of a team
- Good understanding of cash retentions
- Construction Industry knowledge – understanding construction practices and processes
- Experience in contract and subcontract negotiation skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with project teams, clients and industry contacts
Your duties and responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of Progress Claims including any Stat Decs required
- Assisting estimating team with document revision control on tender packages
- Manage project compliance requirements
- Uploading of documents to Project Management Software’s including but not limited to; Simpro, Aconex, Procore, Team Binder, Payapps, Hammertech, Estimate One highly advantageous
- Assisting with procurement process
- Carry out all tasks in accordance with Custom Steel Fab’s ISO-certified internal business management system
- Document control
- Raise, coordinate responses for, and distribute: EOT, Variations, RFIs, RFAs, Non-conformance reports, disputes.
- Input variations into cost system
- Raise job numbers in cost system
- Manage the preparation and distribution of all project administration items including but not limited to; Project Summaries, O&M Manuals, QBCC Installation Certification
- Request and distribute client feedback
- Maintain Project Correspondence Registers
