Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning: You will be in charge of managing the company CMMS system.
- Supervision: Lead and supervise the maintenance team (6 Fitters), providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate and perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and address equipment malfunctions promptly, minimizing downtime and production delays.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the likelihood of equipment failures.
- Inventory Management: Manage and monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring the availability of essential components for timely repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring that maintenance activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules and minimize disruptions.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and performance metrics.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and control for the maintenance department, optimizing resources effectively.
Requirements:
- You will have served a mechanical apprenticeship or similar trade qualification in a relevant field.
- Have experience of supervising a team of mechanical fitters previously.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems; familiarity with industrial machinery
