Role description
This is a on-site role for a Construction Project Manager on the client side. Please do not apply if you live outside of Melbourne, Australia.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement, coordination and management of the project, consultants and contractors associated with the delivery of a new TAFE campus in Melbourne. This role suits an experienced project manager with over 10 years of experience in the construction industry who is looking for an ongoing contract role. Initial contract period of 6 months, with multiple extensions.
Mandatory qualifications
- More than 10 years of construction project management and superintendent experience on the client side
- 5+ years in delivering projects of $20m total project value, in TAFE and tertiary education environments
- Experience in managing procurement processes
- Experience in managing consultants and contractors.
- University degree in civil engineering, architecture, or project management
- PMP or PMI-CP certification
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
