UGL are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team supporting a maintenance shutdown. This will be a casual role with an expected 6-Month duration, commencing November 2024. This role will see you play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of upcoming dust suppression project in Newman, WA. You will be working a 5/2 roster in the Perth CBD, then a 2/1 fly-in fly-out roster once started on site, from February 2025 (approximate only). Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement effective project schedules and timelines. - Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports. - Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems on-site. - Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards. - Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations. - Lead development of QA/QC pack with support from QA/QC advisor. About you: - 5 years’ experience in a similar role - Have a strong mechanical engineering or project management background - Proficiency in Microsoft Project - Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. - Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
